Rowdy the Western Alarm Clock

Class Description-This two-day class takes a rooster from a simple line drawing and develops him into a bird with a definite attitude.  This rooster is long lean and ready to crow!  He will come to life on your canvas.  There are straight, diagonal, compound, complex and decorative stitches put together in a workable manner to bring this bird to life.  Overdyed threads are manipulated where necessary to do what the student wants them to do rather than just jumping on the canvas.  Threads are padded, laid and manipulated to achieve these results.  The end result looks much more complicated that it is!  We will work through this project so the student will be able to better work through their next project on their own.
